About me

IMG_0009I am a first-year resident physician (intern) in Massachusetts. I specialize in internal medicine, and who knows what comes after that?

This blog is a collection of my thoughts about the issues that come up in the daily practice of medicine. Some of them are trivial, and some of them are profound. I talk about things ranging from inequalities in health to the stress of medical education/training to end-of-life care. Sometimes I share stories of patients whom I will always remember.

My interests include creative writing, evidence-based practice, the history of medicine, health literacy and advocacy, natural curiosities, and doing exactly what I tell my patients not to do: eating as much pizza and cake as I want to.

I’m looking forward to getting your feedback and thoughts!
